Author Guidelines

COMPOSITE JOURNAL AUTHOR GUIDELINES
For complete formatting details, visit: Composite Journal Template. Below are the key requirements:

A. General Requirements
1. Manuscripts can be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English.
2. Use proper grammar and spelling. If using foreign terms in an Indonesian manuscript, translate them if possible; otherwise, use italics.
3. Manuscripts must be 8-10 pages long.
4. Paper size: A4 (210 x 297 mm) with margins (Top: 30 mm, Left: 30 mm, Right: 25 mm, Bottom: 25 mm).
5. Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt, single-spaced (1.0).
6. Paragraphs: Indent 5 mm, no extra space between paragraphs.

B. Manuscript Structure
1. Title
1) Times New Roman, 14 pt, bold, UPPERCASE, centered.
2) Must be clear, concise, and reflect the research.
3) Avoid uncommon abbreviations.

2. Authors and Affiliation
1) List full names (first and last) without academic titles.
2) Mark the corresponding author with an asterisk (*).
3) Affiliations are written below the names, without job titles.
4) Use superscript numbers for different affiliations.

3. Abstract and Keywords
1) Abstract in English (and also in Indonesian if the manuscript is in Indonesian).
2) Limited to 150 words, summarizing objectives, methods, findings, and conclusions.
3) Keywords: 3-5 words, separated by semicolons (;).

4. Headings Format
1) Level 1: 10 pt, bold, justified, UPPERCASE (e.g., 1. INTRODUCTION).
2) Level 2: 10 pt, bold, justified, Capitalize Each Word (e.g., 2.1 Study Area).
3) Level 3: 10 pt, italics, sentence case (e.g., 2.1.1 Sampling Method).

5. Introduction
1) Explain background, state of the art, research gap, and research objectives.
2) Avoid excessive literature reviews.

6. Methodology
1) Describe research stages, materials, tools, software, sampling techniques, and analysis methods.
2) Each stage should be briefly explained.

7. Results and Discussion
1) Present scientific findings with supporting data.
2) Explain why findings occur, trends, and comparisons with past research.
3) Discuss theoretical and practical implications.

8. Conclusion
1) Summarize key findings and research objectives.
2) Do not repeat results or discussion.
3) Future research directions may be included.
4) No numbering or subsections.

9. Figures and Tables
1) Tables: Numbered in order, placed near the first mention in the text. Title above the table, left-aligned, 12.5 mm indent. No vertical lines, only horizontal lines in headers and at the bottom.
2) Figures: High resolution (600 dpi or more), placed near the first mention.Title below the figure, left-aligned, 12.5 mm indent.
3) Large figures and tables should be centered across the page.

10. Equations
Centered, numbered in brackets on the right margin (e.g., (1)). Use Equation Editor, do not paste equations as images.

11. References
1) At least 10 references, with 80% from primary sources (journals, proceedings, books) from the last 5 years.
2) Follow IEEE citation style with a 5 mm hanging indent.
3) In-text citations use square brackets [1].
4) Use reference management tools (Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote).

12. Acknowledgments (Optional)
Mention funding sources or significant contributors.
